Legallink

AI legal guidance for Commonwealth markets — built for the whole dispute, not just the intake form.

Legallink is an AI legal-guidance product for Commonwealth markets. Users come in at every stage of a dispute — risk-checking, evidence-gathering, mid-negotiation, already filing — and the system meets them where they are, grounded in real cases and precedents rather than generic legal text.

01Built for the whole dispute, not just the intake

Most legal tools front-load the easy part: a triage form, a quick risk score. Legallink keeps walking with the user. Someone weighing whether to escalate gets a different output than someone preparing evidence the night before a hearing. Each stage has its own structured prompt set, its own outputs, and its own escape hatch to a licensed lawyer when formal responsibility is required.

02Grounded in cases, not generated text

The reasoning layer leans on a corpus of real cases and precedents. Users get pattern-matched comparisons, risk signals, and the likely paths similar matters took — not a freeform paragraph that sounds confident. The framing is meant to give people a basis for the next decision before they spend money on a consultation.

03How the workflow actually runs

A user submits facts and supporting material through a guided flow. The system structures the timeline, maps comparable cases, and produces outputs scoped to the current stage — including a brief that a lawyer can pick up and run with. Anything that crosses into formal legal responsibility is handed off to a licensed lawyer; the product is guidance, not representation.

04My role

I own engineering end to end: architecture, frontend, backend, deployment, production reliability. I also run the staged-rollout gate — feature flags by jurisdiction so changes can land in one market and prove themselves before the next one sees them.

05Where it is now

Live across five Commonwealth markets. Most current work is the unglamorous half: stability, workflow refinement, and the per-market operational details that don’t show up in a screenshot but decide whether the product is actually useful.
